I personally never heard anyone make comments like that. In fact, my community college took in several displaced students after the hurricane and I was so happy to have the opportunity to reach out to them. It’s not a laughing matter and I take offense to you grouping all Alabama fans into that category. I am an Alabama fan and I’ve never joked about anything like that. So please, in the future, don’t just assume because you heard one or two Alabama fans make an ignorant and hateful comment, that ALL Alabama fans agree. This is not about football. There are way more important things in life than a football program. Why can’t we all just push these silly rivalries aside and have compassion on one another? And I agree, both comments are equally disgusting, but that in no way justifies them.
