My favorite book is The Prisoner of Azkaban. I love the darkness of the plot and the character development.
Lupin is fantastic and he’s one of my favorite characters. Sirius Black is my favorite character in the entire series. I absolutely hated him at first…I wanted him to die. No joke. And the fact that JK was able to take a character that I abhorred and turn him into a character that I loved more than all the others is amazing, to say the least. Also, I love how JK slips in important characters early in the series so when you’re reading about this escaped convict, you’re like, “Hey…haven’t I heard that name before…?” And once you do some research, you’re like, “HOLY CRAP! That’s who gave Hagrid the motorbike THE NIGHT VOLDY KILLED HARRY’S PARENTS!!!!!!! *HEAD EXPLODE*”
I wanted so badly for Harry to be able to live with his godfather. If it were possible, I would’ve reached through the book and punched Snape in the face. He is such a douche bag…I just can’t believe that someone would let a schoolboy prejudice follow them into their adult life. I mean, get over it and grow up Snape. It’s your own freaking fault Lily didn’t fall for you, you miserable evil git…I certainly don’t believe he redeemed himself in later books.
Anywho…I would absolutely lovelovelovelovelove for JK to write about the marauder’s era of Hogwarts. The animagi, dementors, time travel, magical creatures, grim sightings, marauder’s map, Dumbledore, information about the marauder’s era, and how about the fact that, for one night, all the marauder’s were once again at Hogwarts. I love it all. Siriusly.
